Exciting News!!

We have some exciting news to share!!

But hold on. Let’s go back for a moment…  

Not long ago, fifteen authors from Germany, Africa, the UK, Japan, the US, Mexico, and Canada came together one day and each of us contributed at least one of our favorite short fiction pieces to create the anthology, Once Upon a Story: A Short Fiction Anthology. How cool was that?

This anthology included a wide variety of genres: science fiction, realistic fiction, fantasy, drama, psychological thrillers, and horror – something for everyone to enjoy. You could read the whole book or jump to whichever genre(s) interested you. Either way, you were sure to be pleased! We were so excited that our ebook had finally come together after the hard work of many hands! We posted our excitement on Twitter, Facebook, in emails and on other social media – sharing the great news of our first published anthology!

But wait – there’s more! And this brings me to the exciting news I want to share!  Recently, some of our members from Active Alumni Writers came together to complete one more final piece for this unique anthology: create a paperback version! And they did it! Now we can finally hold it in our hands, put it on our shelves and continue to share it with our family and friends.  And so can you! That’s right, the PAPERBACK of Once Upon a Story: A Short Fiction Anthology is now published on Amazon!!  

Before I close, I’d like to take a moment to thank these wonderful friends for their hard work on this final piece:  Evelyn Puerto for doing a beautiful job reformatting the anthology to make it sharper and better than ever. Megan Basinger for taking the time to read through and edit each story and provide thoughtful and precise suggestions to make it even stronger. O’ree Williams who dove right into learning all about cover design, a project he himself took on, to create our amazing cover. We are forever grateful for you all!
